8355 CrownShield® Epoxy

CrownShield™ 8355 is a two-component, high-build epoxy binder with a heavy pigment load that delivers excellent coverage and hide in a single coat. Self-priming and moisture-tolerant, it bonds tenaciously to both dry and damp concrete and can be applied directly to saturated surface dry (SSD) slabs with no standing water. Its extended working time allows for easy cut-ins and placement, while the optional CrownShield 8355 Accelerator (6 oz per 2 gallons) provides rapid cure when needed. The formula is VOC compliant across all states and provinces in North America.

Combine Part A and Part B at the specified ratio in a clean mixing container. Mix with a low-speed drill and paddle until the blend is uniform, taking care not to whip in air. Scrape the sides and bottom of the container to ensure complete incorporation. If rapid cure is required, add CrownShield 8355 Accelerator at 6 oz per 2 gallons and mix thoroughly.

Apply directly to properly prepared concrete substrates that are dry or saturated surface dry (SSD) with no standing water. Spread evenly at 160–200 sq. ft. per gallon to achieve full hide and proper film build. Allow sufficient working time for cut-ins and placement before curing begins. Protect the coating from traffic, moisture, and contaminants until fully cured.
